Volume and Void
Made with charcoal, conté crayon, and soft pencil, these drawings use line and tone to convey form and explore the boundaries between figural and non-figural space.
Mass and Matter
This project challenged the conventional reading of architecture as a reflection of utility, stability, and beauty. Through exploration of charcoal to depict movement and evoke emotions based on ordinary space it aimed to question the relationship between the material world and the psychological forces which operate upon it.
Perspective
These drawings capture space and object using geometric methods of projection and graphite.
Colour
An exploration of hue using colour pastels.

Using felt-tipped pen, and soft pencil, these series of drawings explore figure through the emphasis of line and edge.
Hybrid Analogue and Digital Drawing
Exploring hybrid workflows by using photoshop to render a line drawing created by hand using black pen. The inspiration for this drawing is the Mushroom guesthouse, which ZJJZ Atelier has built in a pine forest in Jiangxi, China
