Overview

This project leverages the workflows of digital fabrication techniques to develop the design of a vertical surface element. I was interested in viewing a window condition as a portal connecting the external with the internal. Composed of translucent layers, the panel correlates the obscurity created by increasing the number of physical layers to the figurative layers of separation between man and nature.
