I interned at Milwaukee Tool as a Design Engineer within the Product Support Engineering department. I conducted root cause analysis and designed hands-on tests to resolve issues that impacted 65+ power tools. My main project was focused on the M12 and M18 FUEL Oscillating Multi-Tool where I prototyped design changes to address root cause and optimize for manufacturing.

In addition to this project I did a lot of cross-functional exploration. Some of the highlights were assisting the Design Research department as a videographer on one of their user site visits, and participating in some Concept Engineering ideation workshops. I have developed a love for the fuzzy front-end and a penchant for identifying user pain points and creating actionable solutions!
